Samson Type 3730-1 Positioner with Type 3277 Actuator

SAMSON 3277 / 3730-1 POSITIONER

An integrated valve control assembly combining a Samson Type 3277 pneumatic actuator with a Type 3730-1 electropneumatic positioner. The positioner accepts a 4-20 mA input signal to precisely control the actuator's position. It features a non-contact travel sensor, a single-knob menu-driven interface with LCD, and automatic start-up/calibration. The assembly is designed for direct attachment, simplifying installation. The housing is die-cast aluminum, with a stainless steel option available.

This assembly provides precise, automated control for linear (globe) and rotary valves in industrial process loops. It is used extensively in the chemical, power generation, and oil and gas industries to regulate the flow of liquids and gases.
